Mr. Viswanathan Santhanagopalan is an engineering graduate from Bangalore university. Started career in Siemens Medical as service engineer. Over the course of time gained immense practical knowledge on CT, MRI, PET, Gamma Camera, Linear Accelerators and Cyclotron. Post Siemens Started entrepreneurial journey doing service, maintenance and Installation of CT and MRI scanners in India and abroad. Taking the next big step from being a service and used scanner seller into a manufacturing company by starting Sequoia Healthcare. Through his long career had the opportunity to connect with various stake holders which enabled him to connect with the right technology partners for establishing the MRI and CT Manufacturing. Enabled Jansen Medtech India Pvt Ltd.,to start operations in India for manufacturing of Superconducting magnets. The critical component for MRI Scanners.
GRIME
Involved with the high field MRI industry for over 35 years., in roles covering design, project and product management, service, sales, marketing, business development and Senior management. 1988 joined Oxford Magnet Technology to oversee the design and market introduction of the first low loss Nitrogen free MRI magnet. Subsequently led to the joint venture between Oxford Magnet Technology and Siemens Medical System and the market release of the Siemens Impact and Symphony MRI systems. Progressed through Product Management roles to the position of Marketing Director for the period from Sept 1995 to November 2002, during which time he worked closely with all the major MRI companies worldwide, as well as with MRI start-ups in China and Korea. In 2005 joined Alltech Medical Systems as one of three founding partners in Chengdu, China, with the aim of being the first Asian company to design and manufacture a full MRI systems based on our own superconducting magnet. Chief Consultant - new China based Veterinary Imaging Company, responsible for defining and overseeing their strategic growth plan. Consultant to Alltech Medical Systems, continuing to oversee key strategic relationships. Consultant to a UK based company, leading their involvement in an Indian National MRI project. Business development project for major Russian Medical company.

Is an Associate Professor & Technical Director, Magnetic Resonance Imaging at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, USA Developing novel imaging techniques in MRI. Specialties include Cardiac MRI, Magnetic Resonance Elastography.
He is credited with extensive research on MR Elastography. He is a current and past member of various boards, Member International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine Executive Board Member- Indian Chapter Member-Workshop and Study Group Review Committee Chair-Magnetic Resonance Elastography Study Group American Heart Association. He is credited with extensive research on MR Elastography. Other Major Roles: Cleveland Clinic, Biomedical Engineer Developed techniques for automatic quantification of non-viable myocardium in delayed enhancement MR images. Worked on tagged images for strain calculation. Worked on left ventricular function and its relationship to extent of scar. Analysis on automatic segmentation of aorta.

He looks after the technical aspect He has overall work experience of around 25 years. He has service experience of Medical equipment's as he was employed in organizations like SIEMENS Limited, PHILIPS Limited and IVES Healthcare Pvt.Ltd. During these long years in service division he experienced the knowledge of medical system like CT Scanners, MRI systems, Mammography units, X-Ray systems, patient ventilators. He has served as Senior Service engineer in SIEMENS, CT Modality performance Manger in PHILIPS and as operations Manager in IVES. He is also certified by BARC (Govt of India) as a Radiation Safety Professional.

He has Eleven years of experience in Accounts, Administration and Finance in Medical Equipment Field as he was employed in organizations like Cistron Systems Pvt.Ltd, IVES Healthcare Pvt.Ltd and Cura Healthcare Pvt.Ltd. During these long years he experienced the knowledge of Accounting, Administration, finance, Taxation, Assessments and filing of tax returns.
